To convert your license to a JAA license you have 2 routes [...] Return to the UK with 185hrs including 50hrsPIC 10hrs basic instrument and 5hrs night, (this may not be exact) xcntry navigation hours will be no problem as all navs in AUS especially WA are X country. You will still have to re-sit theory and do a skills test. Budget for 185hrs.
Thats the theory, certainly isn't the practice. Unless you get a concession from the CAA its the 30 hour approved course, current dual rates running at approx. £230/hour. Good luck with that concession
However, HAI read the regs differently (5-15 hours to get you up to speed). Information current last couple of weeks, about 250hrs and 2 ICAO CPLs.

ONE company that operates outside of Europe that can issue you a JAA CPL(H) licence, HAI in Florida. Any other company hinting that you are doing JAA training is talking out their
