FOs conducting Simulator training
Hi People,
I have heard about some airlines in the US as well as Europe which train senior FOs to conduct simulator training.
I think it is a very good idea, i would like to get some more information regarding the same, like
1>Names of airlines that currently follow this system.
2>What is the rationale of the airline in doing so.
3>What is the level of training conducted by the FO instructors, is it limited to training FOs only or are they qualified conduct command training too.
4>What are the qualifications required by the Airline/Regulatory Authority for a FO to become a simulator instuctor.
As you must have guessed i am currently a First Officer, having been an instructor in the US before i got this job, cannot kick the old habbit!!
