Lightbulb Combating Aircraft Hijacks

My apologies if this post isn't appropriate in this forum.

Following last week's horrific occurrences, I lost my job in the industry on Friday and have since spent a lot of time thinking about how to protect airlines against the threat of terrorism and how to make air travel safer.

I believe that there are several very specific measures which, if implemented, would help protect airlines, aircraft and passengers against this menace. In my opinion, these measures would be efficient, relatively easy to implement and, in the long term, unexpensive. I haven't seen my ideas being discussed in either the papers, television, or PPRUNE.

Whilst I don't think I'm the only one to have had these ideas - as many other people must be thinking about similar stuff at the moment - I would greatly appreciate if anyone could advise how to take these ideas to the right people; maybe the CAA (who there? SRG?) might be happy to discuss this sort of thing. I'm not interested in exploiting my ideas commercially, but neither do I deem it wise to discuss them in a public forum, so if anyone can suggest who to approach with this, either here or in the U.S, I'd be very grateful. I truly think what I've thought of could make a real difference.

Many thanks.
