The other point is that quite a few Instructors over at CAS are ex Navair anyway and of course there is the hangar space and large hard stand parking there to be utilised.
All of the Navair Instructors ARE currently casuals bar one Grade 3.There were no Grade 2's or 1's there in the last month or two of the Aerospace merger.
The Navair fleet does require some extensive cosmetic work to return to its former glory.Sadly, some of the fleet were used for spares for other aircraft while under Aerospace rule.
I think the boys and girls can look forward to happier days now after the s***fight they have been through.
