I would have a look at Simviation or Avsim for starters. Loads of sites out there that will fill your hard drive and sadly in many cases, make your installation less compatible than most. Questions...

Search for a group on Yahoo called Airbrakes. Totally uncoordinated, fun, fairly serious, totally frivolous, dry, sarcastic, social misfits, etc. They are very fun guys to spend a sector with. Additions such as Teamspeak and FS Navigator will be explained, but do have a good sense of fun. Tell them Ernst sent you.
