Depends on the airline and how frequently they fly to the long haul destination. could be 1 night, could be 3. pretty sure if its a scheduled carrier you can't be there for more than a wk and i doubt that they would send you there for that long because it would be to costly.
company have to pay you for being there plus they'll be losing your services while they wait for you to get back. but this varies with company.
