Captain Speaking
Thanks for the transcript Wiley. As a very young co-pilot, I flew a Victor SR2 through Guam in January 1969 when fully-laden B-52Ds were staggering off 13,000ft of concrete to bomb Vietnam. The USAF gave us a full briefing on what they were doing, and I was offered a trip in B-52 to see for myself. I wish I'd had the nerve to take them up on it! Anyway, the briefing culminated in a tape recording of 'What the Captain Meant to Say.' It was hilarious and I have spent the intervening years trying to get hold of a copy.
