Prothrombin variant - Class 1 stopper?

Hi folks,

My mother, bless her cotton socks, has just told me that she has been tested positive for a blood disorder that could make her liable to thrombosis.

Tests results stated...
Factor V (Leiden) - Not detected
Prothrombin Variant - Heterzygous

This is a POSITIVE result which may predispose the patient to venous thromboembolism. The patient should be couselled about the result. Family studies should be considered.

Is this likely to prevent me getting an initial issue of a Class 1 medical? Will it have any bearing on my Class 2 PPL medical at present? Had blood test this morning, should find out +ve or -ve in just over a week. Could change my whole career plan if the CAA won't issue me a medical in the future.

Any comments regarding this issue gratefully received.
