As far as I know, no-one was banned!
Problem was, that a lot of the finnish guys/girls wasn't too happy about putting in the effort to write their posts in english, so that also non-finnish-speaking people visiting the forum would understand their writings.
When this was pointed out to them, they went sour and stopped posting.
Can't see the problem, really.
Except that this forum has lost a chunk of (maybe) valuable info regarding finnish aviation. Which is bad enough, I s'pose. But on the other hand, I didn't get any of the stuff written in finnish anyhow, so.......
However,.....I fail to see why a "growing aviation business" should be a free-ticket from doing what a vast majority of the other posters on this forum does; Write in english!
