We tried deploying Open Office 2.0 across the company (>1200 PCs) but the users hate it. Probably a simple matter of change resistance, but the opposition to it is real enough to make us reconsider. If we
do go back to Microsoft (and their salesmen are already in town offering specials
) we shall probably only deploy it on selected machines where the user can prove "special needs" though. For the rest, they'll get used to it eventually.
