Never get used to seeing people say the AFAP was greedy asking for 29% as their long overdue pay rise. The AIRLINES believed the correct figure was 40% +++. A few GREEDY types took the bait and scabbed, to the heavy cost of everyone else! Those who stuck to the Federation showed integrity and confidence in their democratic pilot group - but certainly NOT greed! . .. .Obviously the ANscabs are now getting just what they did to everyone else.. .. .Another observation concerns those who claim the scabs were offering the company great benefits in restructuring and efficiency. So efficient they were flat out making an operating profit for twelve years and ultimately self destructed! How sweet it is!. .. .By the way, if you joined Ansett AFTER April, 1990, you are not on the scab list and will find a warm welcome elsewhere, including o/s. Go for it, and good luck! . .. .The same cannot be said for those whose name is on everyone's copy of the scab list.
