camoisine - there is always a cost.maybe not directly but indirectly.he will lose out on sector pay while some other pleb will be flown to death.tell him to hand back the leave and see what happens.i believe dob is hiding the fact that all the pilots are out of hours from mol by allocating a/l to the roster.keep the master blind.

x-centric - i am afraid that you are wrong on a number of issues,the company is trying to get and putting experienced new joiners on half sector pay.
what you say about take home pay is great until you look at the big picture and realise that you have no insurance and no pension.your take home can be withdrawn or reduced at mols discretion.a crew or ops controller,anybody in the company can !!!! on you and you have to take it because we get such a great take home pay.hmmmm!
