As Rome is not currently a destination served by either mainline or baby, I can't see bmibaby being the airline to replace Ryanair on this route, however FCO was a bmi city back in the days of Midland from LHR, and I've been told that there is potential of Italian & Spanish expansion for bmi, so whilst there might not be a direct flight, Rome may soon be bookable via LHR. I'd be interested on a related note to see how bookings are doing for the baby LGW. I don't really hear much from the other bases, but MME appears to be a successful base for WW, and deserves expansion.
