If you have the type rating fully stamped up in your license and the base check complete I'd start sending out applications everywhere else. I cant see how any bond etc you may have would hold true after waiting 6 months to start a job. They can't bond you for line training, since you haven't done any, and you (i presume) paid for the type rating yourself.
