Their real shortage is on training captains. Not enough people to fly, but on the other hand not enough people to train new people. Nothing really surprising, it must be very difficult to train 200 or 300 new people per year, for sure it would help if they encouraged captains with better money to become trainers. In the mean while, here I am 5 and a half months after finishing the T/R, and still waiting to start the line training.
