Airworthiness
§ Conduct assigned airworthiness functions on behalf of the Technical Airworthiness Authority (TAA).
Engineering Support
§ Manage the in-service engineering support for aeronautical product maintenance and operations;
§ Provide in-service engineering support to aeronautical product maintenance and operational activities.
Design
§ Manage the Design support for aeronautical product maintenance and operations.
§ Conduct engineering investigations, studies and perform functions related to aeronautical product design.
Configuration Management
§ Manage the Configuration Management (CM) program within NFTC ensuring the integrity, trace ability and continuity of technical decisions.
Quality
§ Comply with all aspects of the NFTC Quality Program including Continuous Improvement and Customer Satisfaction requirements;
§ Monitor the quality of engineering activities within the ATO.
Qualifications
Education
§ Engineering Degree (Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion) or have equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience
§ No less than 10 years of relevant and progressively more responsible Aeronautical Engineering experience;
§ No less than 3 years of Airworthiness Engineering experience.
Other Skills
§ Knowledge gained by formal training and work experience of military and civilian airworthiness regulations and standards is required;
§ Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices is required;
§ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required;
§ Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop is preferred).
