Which maintenance schedule are you using for the inspections on the aircraft? The US Army system using the FM's for the Huey? That is what we use where I work.
Changing the chains every one hundred hours? They get wear.....I would think you would overhaul the worn chains and re-use them...that sure is easier than finding new ones.
