First year base wage is around the $36K mark + overtime, etc. No penalty rates, as they are built into the salary.
Average fortnight salary, after tax without overtime, is just on $1200.
No overnights - at all. Except for once per year in Brisbane for Emergency Procedures refresher.
Yes - JQ are after dual basing in Melbourne also (just like in QLD). Creates increased wear and tear on car (depending on your location and proximity between Tulla and Avalon), plus petrol expenses, etc.
Promotion to CM based on merit, with at least 12 months flying experience at JQ or at another airline. Upgrades occur at least once a year, sometimes more, depending on the level of expansion and attrition within the base.
