I know th QF flight to Per ex Mel at 0815 approx on 23rd was u/s and downgraded from an A330-200 to a B767-300 which left the 767 about 50 seats oversold. Now while it was chaotic it was only Mel- Per/Per-Mel flights affected. This could have been handled a little bit better by local management, but on one of the busiest days of the year I guess they did ok as everyone seemed to get to Per that day.
