Since TS is looking to operate new destinations in Asia and South America, the company has to get a longer range of a/c's.
And the 310's can't go to Asia direct out of YYZ/YUL. They still need a refuelling stop somewhere.
Since CO has 10 -200's series, it might be those ones that the company will choose, if ever they want those.
