IMHO, I think it fair enough that the press, having seen the registration on the wreckage at the scene, investigate further. Isn't that what 'you' would do if your mate phoned up and said, "'ere Joe, I heard a helicopter with reg G-XXX has gone down, what do you know about it?"
Do you ever wonder what G-INFO is for?
If the CAA don't like the way it is used then I'm sure they will drop it.
Besides, it tells us to whom the a/c is registered, not who was flying it!!
