Lots of good considerations covered. The only thing I can add is that I have been talking to the western Australian aviation college. They are newly approved by the CAA to run the Intergrated ATPL. No track record as they are just starting out (I would appreciate any info that anyone may have) but they offer the course for about 40K (about 20K cheaper than the other big four!). Their marketing dept say the low cost is due to cheaper fuel and living costs downunder. Having been living in oz for a bit it makes sense. Things are generally cheaper here. Hope this helps.
