OK, just my $0.02 worth, as our American cousins would say. Sorry to some of the ladies here but as a frequent flyer on both long and short-haul flights out of the UK, mostly business class on exes, I much prefer stewardesses in skirts.
It's not just a sex appeal thing, I find them smarter and more flattering to the typical female figure.
One lady said she felt passengers respect her more in trousers than skirts. Is it just that you imagine this, if you feel more comfortable or confident dressed that way? I ask because, if anything, I'm more courteous and formal towards stewardesses in smart skirts because they're more formally dressed.
A couple of times I've been on easyJet, either because I was picking up the tab myself or they just happened to have the best flight times, and these days they seem to be wearing fleeces and cargo pants. Sorry but I can't take them at all seriously
