Note the "2006" bit ?
and the start of the published route :
The World Record Helicopter Team will depart from LAX (Los Angeles, CA) and will fly to the east coast (United States).........
and....
10-30-05 - After Johan took of on his coast to coast flight, traffic on the website increased with 400%.
Does this mean that the "World Record Flight 2006" has already departed - is that "coast to coast" bit the start of the attempt that was launched on 30th October 2005 ?
Wonder how they are doing ?
... what about the US $600 GRAND needed to make it all possible - on their web site they list the "Top Ten" contributors, and ALL 3 OF THEM add up to a paltry US $600 !
havoc : You say you "received this message" - are you able to say who sent it - was it an attempt to get you to part with cash ?
Meanwhile it would be nice to hear from anyone more closely linked to this attempt, to quell any suspicions
