), A/T will set thrust for a ROC of 2000 fpm on first push -- which won't be nearly as dramatic as going for the second push and shooting for Mars.
At that height it could have been a TCAS RA, but they're pretty rare on an ILS. Or really bad windshear... Still, that's what TOGA is for!
