Management have stated that they envisage the Intl operation being part of a separate division of Jetstar (like AN Domestic and International).

Obviously, many many details to be worked out and we'll all find out more in due course. They've also said they're looking at either the A350 or B787 in the long term - as for the short term, I suppose that depends on how much money gets thrown JQ's way.

Will be a very interesting 12 months if tomorrow is any indication.

As for AO going, not too sure about that. JQ Intl is going to be a 'pay for everything' service...you want a meal? You pay for it. You want a blanket? You pay for that too. That's according to the current plan by Management and Alan Joyce. Not sure if the Japanese market would sustain that kind of product (they never have and I doubt they would...not that many large low cost airlines flying into or out from Japan as far as I am aware).
