It's not difficult, it's the volume of stuff you'll need to memorize...pretty useless for the most part. I did it in 6 months, coming from Canada and working full time, distance learning scheme, and got passes on first attempt for all 14 subjects. You do need to work hard though, and my advice: don't go for the cheap distance learning organzations. It's all about the question databases they have and fact is: organizations such as Bristol GS and Oxford will make sure you get all the knowledge you need to pass on first attemp. One more thing, go for UK schools.
