The latest I have is as follows:

-PB and stooges still want Russ to do a psych (because his illegal derostering they created is stressing him) plus loads of other preconditions to his rerostering; seen the guy today: out of all the beings, he looks like the one with the least of stress under the given circumstances of aircrafts AoG and mayhem to get flights out, lack of crew, people being asked to accept days off after their rostered duties have been performed etc...;

-Latest expat package was rejected (can't believe that our negotiating team fell for that one... do they really believe in Father Xmas? I know it is the season, but c'mmon guys, grow up. CH and CM and JvJ are still there with their figures poisoning the new MD);

-More pilots have resigned, including some blue-eyed boys who got fast track in MK (they were good, but their fast track put them over a few other guys).

Meanwhile, government continuing to open up the skies; gulf carriers uping their packages; MK still playing games with its pilots' packages; MK still playing games with Russ (they still don't have ANYTHING against the guy, so looks like they boxed themselves into a corner here but are not bright enough to see that they are causing more damage to themselves, especially top management, since PB is only pulling the strings from behind the scenes... The day this mess gets cleared, all will look at Port Louis and think: "what a bunch of pilot hating idiots..." Nobody will remember that the actual puppeteer was one PB, assisted by his cronies)

The new Managing Director is loosing his credibility fast, very fast. Still procastinating on Russ's case and the new pilot package: any independent outside observer would correct to express very genuine doubts about his ability to steer our company through a REAL crisis. He does not look like he has the goodies to drive such a company, especially in such critical times. The government would be well advised to review its appointee. Nirvan is no Nash, be it in terms of carisma, brights, balls and freedom of action. Sad to see that this time around Ramgoolam does not seem to have a trump card like Nash Mallam-Hassam to through on the table and let him sort out the mess

The new Chairman and his board of Directors not being in control of their Managing Director look like White Elephants in an Ivory Tower: vast sums of money just wasted on them to allow serious crisises to perdure... What is AF, AI and BA going to say about that, let alone the other big shareholders such as Rogers etc? Do they want one of the rare airlines in the world still making money could carry on doing so if properly managed... Otherwise their money is going down the drain as we speak...

All MK staff

A lot of food for thought, especially when you look at the great poem that bjoe1 has come up with! There is no smoke without fire! Think of it
