If that component failed itīs just as likely that the FDR failed to register that they perhaps actually DID a stick jump test!
Thatīs my point! If the servo failed who to sayīs the FDR didnīt fail as well! No one can say for sure that the pilots didnīt do the test or for that matter if they did, that it would necessarily have indicated any kind of problem.
