The hiring process must take a
lot longer nowadays than when I was there.
For yours truly...
DEC application sent one week, interview with the DFO the next in London, and travelled out to Singapore a week later.
Sim/line training took four weeks, tops.
Of course, I arrived fully qualified and current, which helped, I'm sure.
At SQ, some things never change, especially their inability to recruit in a timely fashion, when the need becomes remotely apparent.
When I applied, they were cancelling flights due to a shortage of DEC's.
