Yor PPL is based on the class of aircraft you fly - in your case Single Engined Piston Aeroplane. It doesn't matter whether it's CofA or Permit for the purposes of the 12 hour rule.

If you own it then there's no reason why your hour with an instructor shouldn't be in it either.
