Attempted Shotts today, over mist most of the way, but a large clear "hole" from Wellesbourn onwards seemed promising. Unfortunately the "hole" ended about 2 miles from Shotts
Ended up diverting to Enstone, and after hanging around for an hour or so with no sign of improvement, flew back home again.
Might try again tomorrow, Hairyplane, would you mind if I gave you a call tomorrow for a METAR?
