Stunning pictures - I was somewhere under that fog blanket in your first picture: the viz never got much above 300m all day Sunday.
The country house/stately home you passed on the way into Enstone is probably Heythrop Hall (where the Flyer summer bash was). Its just west of the airfield (by about 1nm) and slightly north of the extended centre line.
