DW, yes I could see Cranfield as we headed south from Turweston back to Wycombe around 3pm, but I understand that earlier in the day they had been closed... must have been 50/50 vis at some stages.
I am quite comfortable over the fog, as long as I can see some holes to glide to in case of donk-failure!
