No the main problem with Newquay is it is owned by Cornwall County Council who know as much about running an airport as Kermit and the rest of the muppets.

Best thing to happen would be if someone with a commercial brain bought the airport and did a proper job of developing it!

Of course there are lots of opportunities here, it is never going to be a major hub but other airports have developed activities which are productive in terms of employment and cash generation!

But this thread is about Air Southwest and at last someone has seen the possibilities of Newquay to Cardiff - can't believe it has taken this long but shame it is only one rotation a day. Two would have allowed a days work without hotac and of course no four hour plus drive.
