There is something seriously wrong with these FAA people.
We have now been operating potential lethal Hydro Aire fuel pumps for YEARS under AD. This AD is to prevent the aircraft from blowing up should there be a problem with the pump.
Boeing even modified the aircraft (737NG) so the pumps will shut down if they run dry.
Everything but the obvious solution. Change those deadly pumps!
The whole thing stinks!
