i see they are all going up
see here
http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/850/Enclos...0607%20PLS.pdf
its a f***ing outrage what they charge. 700 quid just to sit a CPL flight test. in the FAA system it's about 150 quid. i really cant see how the CAA justify their charges. it's no wonder GA is dying on it's arse in the UK.
i\'m sorry to go on about this. but....
>\"2.1 b) for the grant of a Professional Pilot\'s Licence, other than a Commercial Pilot\'s Licence (Balloons), a Commercial Pilot\'s Licence (Airships) or a Commercial Pilot\'s Licence (Gliders), a Flight Navigator\'s Licence or a Flight Engineer Licence, valid for five years,
including an initial type rating and instrument rating where these are included in the
application, a charge of £210\"
- what exactly do they do when they issue a CPL? some bod checks the paperwork, prints the licence, and posts it to you.
- how does this cost 210 pounds?
if anyone is from the CAA and reading this, i am looking forward to hearing your reply.
