i was going to pay more, and i'm glad i didnt upgrade, because the seat pitch in "premium" was just as bad
It is not difficult to
check seat pitches online and you can tell then that Monarch "Premium Class" offers 34" seat pitch (as opposed to 29" at the back of the aircraft).
This compares favourably with, say, BA at 31" in economy class.
