Either 8 or 9 days off a month, I forget how its worked out. Could be more if the rostering efficiency improved which it may if the exemption to CAO 48 is ever adopted. There are days in the roster that are "unassignable". On these days you are not on reserve and only get caught if you answer the wrong call so to speak. Many trips start later on one day and finish early back in BNE the next, in effect giving a reasonable amount of time at home between days off.
