I think I am more worried about the 14 year old kid or suicidal terrorist that will hack the flight control system in flight and crash the system, literally.
Imagine the effect of changing the error correction on location during an ETOPS portion of flight so the plane and you think you are headed towards your destination when really you are moving further and further over the pond.
I might be reaching, but I hope someone has thought of that. There is nothing secure about any computer network. If man can make it man can break it. Hollywood spent 100 Million on securing their DVDs so they could not be copied and it took that 14 year old in Denmark about a week to crack it.
