There is definately potential for the introduction of a larger aircraft withing the airwing, although I believe we won't see anything for at least 5 years.
Interesting to note that when originally sourcing an aircraft for the CT role they did in fact have the funding to purchase a 412. It was decided that the long term operational costs of a BK were more affordable ..... especially when concidering the 'here today, gone tomorrow' funding whims of the government. I think anyone would agree, it would be a shame to have a 412 as a hangar queen......
