Hardon...My wife and I were in Poppondetta and Lae for about 4 months or so during my year and a half in PNG (Hi Sheesh bloke, Pottsy, Geoff) and she decided to leave after being in an armed robbery with me and having our compound broken into whilst I was working and she was at home. Pay attention to Metromans post as it is a very real threat, but by no means a certainty. If I was asked would we do it again I would say absolutely no way (I would go back alone for the flying but I would no longer be married <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> ) which is a shame as it is a beautiful country with some really great people, but you can't win an argument if the other guy has a gun!!
