Hardon deGeare... guys DO have their wives and girlfriends living there, but the place has been known to be a severe test of marriages. Many marriages have failed the test, one way or another. Older couples tend to survive better than younger ones. You'd be well advised in any event, make enquiries about the type of accommodation that will be provided for you and, most importantly, the quality of the security at the accommodation venue.
