Hey Northern Chique, calm down, you haven't worked under him, he is tough and ruthless (one day soon he will be rough and toothless, if C**** M***** has his way).. .But in defence of her, no she is not R**** D****** at all, far from it.. .But Skidmark you are right, it was an EDP failure, and Bull musn't have trained him properly, as if he was he would have put the Aux pump on, but even if he HAD been taught that, his course of action may have proven to be a better one.. .Put yourself in the pilots spot, you're a low time pilot, doing low level scenics, not trained in a low level course, and no training from the CP, you have an engine failure at low level, and your perfomance becomes that of the common house brick (ie, you're going down FAST). What would you do if you only had a few seconds to do something, would you look at your fuel, mags, master, pumps etc, or would you try to save your life by finding a suitable area to land the sucker.. .Now admitadly this is how the majority of people would view the situation, but our old buddy here didn't see it that way, all he saw was, the stupid low time pilots didn't turn on the Aux pump, and because of it, i've got a blemish next to my name.. .I think that being the CP of a company with low time pilots, you are obliged to train them properly and teach them all that you know, and not blame them when something goes wrong.. .It will eventually come back on him, after all, there are alot of pilots he has p***** off in the past, and if he wants to get himself a REAL GA job then he's got buckleys. He had a chance with the police airwing, but it seems a single engine turbine is too hard to fly, so how is he expected to fly a twin engine turbine? . .. .(Edited for not being Perfect). . . . [ 09 March 2002, 01:35: Message edited by: Mr Perfect ]
