It happens to me all the time since I am flying the Brazilian sewer pipe. "This plane is soooo small" has become a regular comment right after the f/a's greeting. We always make comments on the remarks such as "if you rub it, it'll get bigger".
One day the CA actually turned around to a middle-aged woman who was on a constant rant and told her that "Greyhound runs all day long!"
