Is that a bad thing? as far as im concerned, anything that prevents a terror attack on Aussie soil is a good thing, even if that means the suspects will no longer carry out their threat and the feds have a blown operation? im sure the the cell under survelence will continue to be watched, and if they plan another attack later in the future, then im sure the feds will than have a case against them and take action
So given that it was inevitable that operation was going to be blown with the mad rush to parliament, why not give us specific details on what the big worry was?
I'm not saying you're wrong - I agree that it's better to have blown an operation rather than have any risk of it actually happen - but with the trust & respect level I have for our government (Children overboard, Stolen generation, the "never ever GST", WMD, DIMIA, IR, Aviation management.........) it's inevitable that I and a large part of the population must conclude that it's all a big 'wag the dog' stunt.
