You have made the right choice in chosing South Africa. The South Africans certainly take their flying very seriously, and Africa is a great place to fly to gain some Experience befor going off and applying to your national Airline Misr Tyran!!!!!
I would recommend 43 AirSchool in South Africa apparently they the more expensive school but from what alot of they guy's Ive spoken to have said they get the job done right first time!!!!
I did all my training in the US and now after a good 5 years of commercial flying I'm doing my ATPL in the UK!!! I can definately say that if I had my time again I would have definately gone to South Africa!!!!
You wont have much change out of 30,000US$ these days but try to make the most out of what you have!!!
