thought better give some people home truths on NJME especially if you are silly enough to even contemplate joining them.
1. You will be interviewed and processed very quickly I'd imagine as they are soooo short of crews at the moment !!
2. I believe that in the last month 3 Gulfstream captains and 2 flight attendants have resigned.
3. You will be told that you fly under far regs 135. When in actual fact it is very rare that you fly anything other than far regs 91. so expect to fly really really long days with minimal rest everywhere !!! 91 is well and good if you are paid accordingly but pay is not good for this type of work especially in Saudi.
4. They do try to keep your rotation however turnover is so great they operate with minimum crews so could be necessary to do overtime. Also remember that although 31 days OFF you are so so tired you need time to recover when home then you have a feeling of dread for at least a week before your return.
5. Recurrent training is done Twice a year in your OWN TIME OFF. (FAs once a year). This is about 12days of your own time every 6 months.
6. Hotels are ok. Hotel in Jeddah just now the crew have had their laptop and watches stolen so watch personal belongings.
