OK then, whats the real benefit of the ATPL (H) JAA against the CPL? YES I know you can multi crew & hold an IR, but need to gain the rating within 3 yrs, but if only flying VMC on single op's/ charter work, isn't it a bit unnecessary? How many of you have found it to be a money pit?
Another one for you, holding a CPL (new type from Dragon) could you not then undertake an IR at a later date?

Don't know why I asked really, I've just got a Kiwi permanent residency with 3 months of applying!! so those thinking of going out to work/fly there, then NZ are desperate, never been easier to get that 'golden nugget' and I'm crispy at 41!!
