Has anybody been able to get a UK (JAA) type rating from a credit of there ICAO Rating? (Assuming you are a holder of a JAA licence) I have 500+ hours on both types; I would like to get credited. And both aircraft are on my Canadian/Australian/New Zealand licenses (type specific not group ratings). The LASOR’s don’t really answer what is required; would I still have to do a check ride with an instructor?
